Who we are

This website and its RFQ inquiry channel are operated by Sourcebotics — [registered legal entity name and business address to be completed before launch] — an independent sourcing and export service based in China. For EU/EEA visitors, this entity is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about any privacy question at hello@sourcebotics.com.

We collect the minimum data needed to answer your inquiry and deliver your order — nothing more, and never for resale.

What we collect

When you submit an RFQ we store what you type into the form: the product you're sourcing, quantity band, destination country, email address, and any optional details you add (company, role, use case, timeline, budget band, message, phone/WhatsApp). We also record the page the request came from. We use privacy-respecting, cookie-light analytics to understand aggregate traffic.

How we use it

Your email is used to send the quote you asked for and to follow up on that conversation. We do not send newsletters, we do not add you to marketing lists, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties except where needed to fulfil your order (for example, giving a freight forwarder a delivery address).

Service providers and international transfers

This site is hosted on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 and R2), so the inquiry data you submit is stored and processed on Cloudflare infrastructure on our behalf. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the RFQ form from spam and abuse; Turnstile processes your IP address to distinguish human visitors from bots. Our cookie-light analytics provider processes aggregate, non-identifying traffic data. Because these providers and our own operations span multiple regions, your data may be processed outside your own country, including outside the EU/EEA; where that occurs for EU/EEA personal data we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not otherwise share your data with third parties except a freight forwarder engaged to deliver your order.

Retention and your rights

Inquiry data is kept while the conversation or business relationship is active, and for up to 24 months after the last contact unless a longer period is required for tax, customs or export-control records. You can request a copy of your data or its deletion at any time by emailing hello@sourcebotics.com — we answer within 30 days. EU/EEA visitors: the legal basis for processing RFQ data is our legitimate interest in responding to your commercial inquiry (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
