How to read this table

Compare robots within the same job first. A floor scrubber, a vacuum robot and a hotel delivery robot share navigation technology but are specified differently: cleaning robots by cleaning width, tank volume and area per hour, delivery robots by compartment capacity, payload and elevator integration.

Runtime is quoted under the manufacturer's conditions, often unloaded or in a particular cleaning mode. Plan shifts around the runtime in your own mode, and check charging time and whether the robot docks and charges without staff.

Dimensions decide where a robot can work. Measure the narrowest corridor, doorway, lift car and turning space on its routes, and compare them with the robot's width and turning requirements, not only its length.

Navigation describes how the robot maps and localises. Ask how maps are created and edited, whether the robot can use lifts and doors in your building, and whether operation depends on a cloud service or can run on a local network.

FAQ

Can one robot handle both cleaning and delivery?

Most service robots are built for one job, because cleaning and delivery need different payloads, consumables and docking stations. Modular platforms exchange a delivery or cleaning module on a shared base; ask what each module does, how long a change takes and whether the docking station handles both.

What site information should I send with an inquiry?

Floor area and surface types, corridor and door widths, lift models and access control, Wi-Fi or mobile coverage, the number of floors, operating hours and where the robot will charge.

Is an English user interface available?

Many Chinese service robots ship with English interfaces and voice prompts for export markets, but language support varies by model and software version. Ask for screenshots or a demonstration of the exact version you will receive.
