Discuss this configurationThe generic C16 name covers differing documentation and hardware generations. These catalog references do not establish separately orderable variants or the C16-151B suffix. Match the full nameplate/order code, hardware, firmware and drawing before quoting. The CN-V2.2-24.10.23 standard C16 table gives 1040 g, Ø102 × 77.9 mm, −16° to +14° and 12–32 V DC. The earlier C32/16 PDF gives 1000 g, Ø102 × 81 mm, −15° to +15° and 9–36 V DC. The English introduction sheet gives 1050 g; the current webpage retains 9–36 V. Confirm the supplied drawing and electrical limits instead of mixing these references.
The CN-V2.2-24.10.23 brochure distinguishes ±3 cm ranging accuracy from ±1 cm precision (1σ). Current webpages label ±1 cm as accuracy without the same definition. Use a written acceptance definition for the quoted revision; do not interpret statistical precision as a guaranteed absolute error.
The manufacturer ROS 2 driver README LSLIDAR_CX_V4.2.4_240410_ROS2 explicitly lists C16 3.0 and 4.0 hardware families and named Ubuntu/ROS versions. Match the packet protocol, firmware and calibration to the unit; the driver was not run in this review. A configurable 200 m software filter is not a sensor range specification.
Standard C16 and the separately documented intrinsically safe/flameproof C16 family are not interchangeable. Do not transfer explosion-protection markings from the adjacent brochure page or C16E material to this standard unit; obtain the exact certificate and configuration if required.
Specify the full order code, hardware and firmware revisions, mounting drawing, power supply, connectors and return mode. Confirm availability, quantity, seller, shipment destination and warranty in the actual quotation.
