FAQ

Why does everyone use the Mid-360?

Hemispherical FOV at 265 g and sub-$1k, plus first-class support in open-source LIO/SLAM stacks. It's the default because the software ecosystem already assumes it.

Any gotchas?

The non-repetitive scan pattern needs Livox-aware drivers, and 59° vertical FOV means mounting height/angle matters for near-field coverage. Plan the mount before the PO.
