Livox’s English company introduction uses Livox Technology Company Limited and gives a 2016 founding; its Chinese introduction uses 览沃科技有限公司. Current registered jurisdiction and headquarters were not established in this review. The English privacy policy gives a Hong Kong privacy contact, while the Chinese policy describes a PRC company and a legacy Horizon manual names a Hong Kong company. Confirm the legal seller and invoice entity for the order.

For a sensor shortlist, define mounting space, scan coverage, required range and target reflectivity, motion, near-field obstacles and mapping or navigation workload. MID-360, MID-360S, Avia and Avia 2 variants should each be checked against their own current datasheet. A scan pattern or range statement from one model should not be transferred to another.

Use the manufacturer download directory for model-specific firmware, manuals and CAD. SDK2 documentation covers MID-360(S) and HAP; its changelog also adds Avia2 support in 1.4.0, with further 1.4.x controls and samples. The Avia 2 NF manual explicitly points to SDK2 and ROS Driver 2. The latter includes Avia2 examples but is documented as a debugging/test tool requiring adaptation for production. Original Avia is listed by the separate legacy Livox SDK repository. The after-sales policy distinguishes end users, purchase evidence, regions and sales channels. A DJI Store return provision does not automatically apply to a different seller.
